General Information:

This model was built in 1989 by master modelmaker Robert L. Okerholm . It has won First Prize in an international juried model ship show in the Ottawa, Canada National Museum of Science and Technology in 1990, Second Prize in the USS Constitution Shipwright Guild Juried ship model show in 1991, and has been shown at naval trade shows in Washington, DC and San Diego, CA. This model floats and can be radio controlled in water. It is also suitable for display in a museum or a collector's home. A plexiglas dust cover (73x11x24"), solid oak base, and a custom birch hand carrying case (73x11x24") are included in the purchase price.

Scale: 1:96 Length: 70" (1778 mm)

Construction: Fiberglass hull, rigid Gatorfoam board superstructure, hand crafted brass masts and fittings, custom resin cast fittings hand made by the builder.

Radio control: Futaba 4 Channel Working electronic items: Antenna, Navigational lights, Rudder, Propellers.

Payment and Shipping:

We accept money orders and cashier's checks in US dollars drawn on a US bank. You may arrange a pickup if you live near Boston, or the model will be crated professionally and shipped via USArt of Boston, a museum shipper. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and insurance charges.
