About Us

Twenty-first Century Models is a professional scale model company established in 1988 specializing in high quality corporate models, private commissions, and trade show display scale models.

By furnishing a unique approach in style, quality and design, Twenty-first Century Models is able to vigorously maintain the high quality expected by the companies and private collectors we serve. Our focus on flexibility and creative craftsmanship makes it possible for us to accommodate our clients' needs, desires, and deadlines.

The working relationship we have with our clients combined with discussions with them to customize their scale model requests make it possible for us to offer out of the ordinary and uniquely built museum quality scale models. This attention to detail allows them more flexibility in marketing and displaying their vision or simply adorning their homes.

We look forward to creating a unique model for you or your company!

Robert and Johanna Okerholm

Robert, a master model maker, has been creating museum quality scale models for over twenty years in his private studio in Massachusetts for corporations, trade shows, and collectors. His models have toured the globe, including Canada and Germany and have been displayed in museums including the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. and the Air, Sea, and Space Museum in Washington, DC.

Johanna is a graphic and technical illustrator with a BA in art from the University of Bridgeport. She has designed the brochures for Twenty-first Century Models and designs and creates the fabric furnishings seen in the boat salons. With training as a technical illustrator, Johanna creates the artwork needed for the brass etched instruments and the artwork for the decals seen on our models.

Some of our clients are Lockheed/Sanders, the National Center for Atmospheric Research, MIT Lincoln Labs, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, and General Dynamics.
